The service department of STS Health in Western Australia offers a choice of servicing and testing that allows our clients to customise servicing to meet their specific needs. A full complement of testing is available to meet validation or accreditation requirements.

All test results are included in a fully itemised written report.

If you require validation of your steriliser in accordance with Australian Standards the following additional tests are required. (Note: AGPAL Accreditation requires validation to Australian Standards).

To minimise costs, Test 5 can be carried out by the practice instead of our service technician.

3	PENETRATION TIME TEST	Measures the real time taken for the centre of a "challenge pack" to reach active sterilising temperature. More details...	0.75 hours
4	CYCLE VALIDATION TEST	Validates a single sterilising cycle as per the Australian Standards. More details...	1.0 hour
5	BIOLOGICAL TESTING (3 Consecutive Cycles)	Biological confirmation of consistent sterilising performance. More details...	Varies according to model.

The frequency of service and/or testing is at the discretion of the individual practice. Practices seeking validation in accordance with Australian Standards or accreditation through AGPAL should consult their documentation for required frequency of servicing and testing.

Work can be carried out on-site or in our workshop.
